The Boise Hawks baseball season is less than nine days away and the 2015 player arrival has brought anticipation for the 2015 season to new levels.
The new Hawks players arrived at the Boise Airport Wednesday afternoon and were greeted by the Hawks staff, media, Booster Club and fans.
“The Boise Hawks are the hometown team and we want our fans to feel they know these players and we want our players to know the dedication our fans have for the team,” said Todd Rahr, team president. “This is a very exciting time for Hawks baseball and we are excited to get this season started.”
The players spent the day traveling around Boise, sightseeing and getting acclimated to their new summer homes. They will begin team workouts on Thursday and will be available to meet guests and sign autographs at the Hawks Open House on Saturday, June 13 from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m.
